I first discovered NEOSTRATA when I tried their Brightening Eye Cream. I loved the eye cream, so when I learned about their Foaming Glycolic Facewash, I jumped at the chance to try it out.
What is glycolic acid, you might ask? Well I had to look this up too. (Props to you if your familiar enough with skin care to already know that!) It’s an alpha hydroxy acid, which works by loosening the glue-like substance that holds dull and dead skin cells on your top layer of skin. This then reveals newer, healthier skin. It also works to stimulate new cell generation, giving your skin better texture and complexion. Just by washing your face!
This specific wash is a soap-free, maximum strength foaming cleanser that is formulated with a smart delivery system to provide the benefits of glycolic acid while minimizing the potential for irritation. With my sensitive skin, I use the wash every other day and have no irritation, just more even and brighter skin tone! I am a big fan of the product!
