Seeing states start to re-open has me dreaming of the days I can go out to events again! And I don’t even need something huge like a concert or wedding – I’ll take a backyard BBQ with friends, please and thanks. How ADORABLE is this top and skirt combo?! My favorite trend right now is the dramatic sleeve. From a tiny puff shoulder to huge billowing sleeves, they all add a fun element to an otherwise simple top. This organza sleeve top comes in the white I’m wearing, and also black, blush pink, grey, and wine.
These poufy sleeves are slightly sheer and finished with a bow. I love the play of the airy sleeve off the more structured striped skirt.
The skirt has a great fit, sitting at the natural waist and then the pleats giving it that fun (and flattering!) A-line shape. Add some heels and a cute clutch and you are ready for a date night. Or a shower. Or a wedding. Or a birthday party. Or graduation party. Or a backyard BBQ. Or really anything. (Can you tell I miss my social life?!)
I love the pop of pink heels with the classic white and navy. But if you want a more casual look, flats or espadrilles would provide just that. And this cute top does not NEED a skirt and heels. I paired mine with boyfriend jeans and sandals for a birthday party parade. Just as cute!
