Why I Love: The Sam Edelman Yaro Sandal

Another #tuesdayshoesday blog post for Momming In Manolos! My love for shoes? Issa problem. (See: name of blog.) But I’m okay with it. So without further ado… THE YARO.

Guys. I love this sandal. Can you tell? It’s got so many great attributes.

  • It comes in a ton of colors, prints, fabrications.
  • It’s a block heel, so you’re more steady and comfortable on your feet than a stiletto.
  • The strap behind the toe is wide enough that it feels comfortable on your foot, while the ankle strap adds support to make walking and balance easy despite the high heel.
  • The price! They vary based on which color/fabrication you choose, but they’re all around $100 and often on sale. For something you’ll wear again and again, it’s a great cost-per-wear.

The Floral Snake Print and Palm Print are from last year but still available on sale! The Suede Oatmeal colorway is new to me. I have a similar shoe in patent leather and a stiletto heel, and this feels less fancy than that. This is perfect for pairing with jeans, shorts, jumpsuits or dresses. Can you tell I pair this style with everything? Case in point: jeans, white denim, shorts, and dresses.

And that’s truly just scratching the surface of how many times I’ve worn these. If you want to start with a classic color, I recommend my Oatmeal Suede pair above or the Basic Black Leather. Both will have you reaching for them time and time again. Something fun for summer is the Cork with Gold Fleck version. But seriously – look at the colors offered and the possibilities are endless! If you have a pair and love them, let me know!

Happy Shopping!
