Last year I started playing tennis. It’s definitely humbling to start a new sport in your 30s! But I’ve kept at it and really enjoyed it. And the best accidental benefit to playing tennis? The cute outfits! Nothing against my usual running clothes, but tennis clothes are on another level. When Monelle Vermont brought in a new collection of tennis and golf clothes from Lilly Pulitzer, I knew I had to check them out! I absolutely fell in love with this tennis dress.

The review: it’s super comfortable. Easy to wear on the court playing, but looks so chic when you’re out and about it in. I love the all-white, giving me Wimbledon vibes, and you know you can wear it on any court regardless of attire rules. The Lilly and tennis themed jacquard print adds the perfect amount of whimsy while keeping it classy.
The tank element is actually two straps layered, which makes it hide any type of sports bra straps. There is a built-in bra, but it’s not the most supportive, so I think anyone with boobs will still wear a sports bra with it.
It’s the first tennis dress I’ve owned, compared to having skirts that I pair with tops. I did have to quickly order some white spandex to go under, because the dresses don’t have the built in layer. Amazon to the rescue!
