The Nordstrom sale! If you follow other bloggers, you know this is a BIG deal. But I don’t go crazy over it. Mostly because I’m always on vacation when it starts and ain’t nobody got time for that at the beach! But also because there are so many items that it’s hard to sift through and find the real winners. But I found myself in a Nordstrom store for a return and couldn’t pass up a quick opportunity to check out some of the deals in person.

For the past several years, I’ve gotten a piece of outerwear from this sale. They range from fancy wool winter coats to a casual lightweight vest for fall. This year, I found the perfect fall jacket! It’s water resistant, a longer length, has a hood, and comes in the most adorable star quilting.
My mini had to check out the kids selection and fell in love with this rainbow outfit! It’s actually a tank dress with matching sweatshirt. She’s wearing the dress now, and will add the sweatshirt in the cooler temps. Bonus that the pieces can be work together or separate – it’s like three different outfits!
And there you have it. Short and sweet. Or as I’d like to think of it, the best of the best. 😉
