This week’s post is focused on my favorite kind of business: a woman-owned, small business! And local to boot! Maddie & Connor Co. is a classic children’s clothing line with beautiful pieces. Sara, the founder, and I connected on social media and she’s a delight. After having her daughter (the same age as my daughter!) she wanted to create a line of timeless outfits that can be handed down through generations. I’d say she nailed it!
The Kenzie dress is fall perfection! Love the rich mustard color of the gingham. The neckline has a sweet tie collar that my daughter thinks is the coolest bow.
The back and sleeves have wood buttons – such a nice touch. And ties in so nicely with her brown fall boots.
I think this might be our Thanksgiving dress! I always want my kids to look cute but also be comfy because it’s a long day, and this dress is just that!
Look at that sweet little smile! Believe me when I say she won’t do that if she doesn’t like what she’s wearing. (Hmmm, particular about her clothing – wonder who’s genes those are… 😉)
